General features
  • Rare, extranodal lymphoma
  • Highly aggressive
  • Express CD56 if NK cells
  • CD56 positive in some cases of T cell lineage
  • Positive for EBV in all cases
Clinical presentations
  • Most common site: Upper aerodigestive tract
  • Rapidly growing mass
  • Vascular damage and destruction
  • Prominent necrosis
Key pathogenesis
  • EB Virus
