General features
  • AKA lobular capillary hemangioma
  • Benign, may regress
  • May be associated with trauma
  • If during pregnancy: granuloma gravidarum, regress after delivery
Clinical presentations
  • Rapidly growing, exophytic red nodule, attached by a stalk to skin or gingival mucosa
  • Bleeds easily
  • May have erosion (raising concerns of malignancy)
Morphological features

  • Lobular capillary type vascular growth with fibrous septa
  • Variable inflammation and edema
Management
  • Surgery
  • Follow up
