General features
  • Most common
  • Usually small (<5 mm)
  • More common in rectosigmoid
  • Likely no risk for subsequent malignancy if small
Key pathogenesis
  • Delayed shedding of surface epithelial cells
Clinical presentations
  • Usually asymptomatic
  • May cause GI bleeding

Treatment
  • Polypectomy
