General features
- Inflamed regenerating mucosa
- Associated with chronic inflammation, infection
- No increased risk of dysplasia
- Treatment: treat underlying disorder

- Inflammation and regeneration
Clinical presentations
- Usually asymptomatic, or symptoms associated with underlying disorder
- May cause obstruction or hemorrhage
Key morphological features
- Mucosal ulcers and markedly inflamed edematous mucosa
- No invasion, no markedly atypia
