General features
- Most common acute complication
- Due to missing a meal, excessive physical exertion, an excess insulin administration, or during the phase of dose finding for antidiabetic agents
Clinical presentations
- Dizziness, confusion, sweating, palpitations, tachycardia and loss of consciousness
Managements
- Glucose, either oral or intravenous
